Pally texts you back. Grais drafts in the chat you're in.
We compared Grais with Pally in September 2026, and the honest answer is that they mostly do different jobs.
Pally is an assistant you text. There's no signup and no app. You message a number over iMessage or RCS. It connects Gmail, Outlook, Google Calendar, Slack, Notion and a long list of other tools, sends a morning brief, books flights, handles check-in and completes purchases you approve. On the $100 a month Max plan it gets its own phone number and calls businesses for you. There's a free plan, and Pro is $25 a month.
If you want someone on your phone running life admin, Pally does that today and Grais doesn't. Grais doesn't shop, book or make calls, and it has no mobile browser version. New Grais accounts are invitation only right now, too.
The overlap is WhatsApp, and even there they behave differently. Pally watches your WhatsApp as an inbox, catches you up, and sends replies you approve from its own thread. Grais sits on the chat you have open in WhatsApp Web and drafts the reply right there. It also works on Telegram Web, Instagram, LinkedIn and Tinder. Instagram and LinkedIn aren't on Pally's integration list.
Approval works differently as well. Pally shows every outgoing message word for word and waits, for every contact, every time. Grais sets trust per person. Review is the default, and a contact can move up to voice approval or known-safe autonomy once you've decided that's fine for them.
A split that makes sense: Pally on the phone for the calendar, inbox and bookings, Grais for the replies that actually decide something, like the client thread on LinkedIn.
